Album: Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid
Blue Sky
- light, crispy rock from
the new album
, this one has a catchy opening riff that reminds some of "First Snow" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, at least when it starts anyway. I swear I wrote mine first back in 1993!
The Key
- a more dramatic "darkness to light" song, this one has an extended coda with some fun harmony leads.
Pitter Patter
- the best Metallica riff they never wrote opens this high energy romp with some "pedal to the metal" leads. This one's likely to cause speeding tickets!
Album: The Firebard
Legends
- the first single from
the debut album
, "Legends" has been downloaded over 30,000 times.
Still at Large
- a favorite of myself and many others, this tune is a tense romp with a tortured solo section and searing leads.
Accolade
- this is a light ballad (one for the ladies!) with "clean" electric guitars under a smooth lead tone.
Unreleased Demos
The Gift
- this is the most recent song written for the all-acoustic guitar album due for recording in 2008. All guitars and bass are me, as is the drum programming. Released April 2008.
Crunch Time
- a song intended for the next rock album, this has my final guitar performances (unless I change something) and me on bass and my original drum programming. This song originated from my work on the "Structural Chord Progressions" article.

Guitar Tablature
A Far Cry
- guitar tablature and sheet music in .pdf format for the lead and rhythm guitars, plus
performance/composition notes
.
Legends
- lead, rhythm, and bass guitar and tab for the free download.
Jam Tracks For Guitarists
Progressions
- From the
article
on using chord progressions, this jam track with bass, rhythm guitar, and drums is good for improvising lead guitars.
